Massive Drug Network Toppled in Georgia: Operation Take Back America Unveiled

FBI and DEA agents have dealt a crushing blow to Georgia’s drug trade, seizing enough fentanyl to kill 48 million people in the state’s largest bust ever. The historic raid, led by FBI Director Kash Patel, dismantled a sophisticated network that threatened American communities across the South.

Trump Appointee Leads Massive Drug Bust

FBI Director Kash Patel, recently appointed by President Trump, spearheaded Operation Take Back America resulting in Georgia’s largest fentanyl seizure. The joint FBI-DEA operation netted over 252 kilograms of narcotics valued at more than $9 million, including deadly fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine.

Law enforcement executed search warrants at three locations across Atlanta, South Fulton, and Douglas County, arresting 47-year-old Bartholomew Keeton Harralson. Agents seized 33 firearms along with the massive drug haul, dealing a significant blow to cartels and transnational criminal organizations operating in American communities.

Enough Poison to Kill Millions

The DEA reported the seizure included 97 kilograms of fentanyl, enough to kill a staggering 48 million people. Searches at Harralson’s residence revealed not only large quantities of drugs and weapons but also pill press machines, hydraulic presses, binding agents, and even a book on avoiding federal charges.

Harralson now faces multiple charges including possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes. If convicted, the drug trafficker could face at least 40 years to life in federal prison, sending a clear message to others involved in similar criminal enterprises.

America First Approach to Crime

FBI Director Kash Patel praised the operation as part of the administration’s commitment to crushing violent crime in American cities. “I’m proud of the outstanding work by our agents and grateful for the strong partnership of the DEA in this joint effort,” Patel said, adding that together they’ve “dealt a serious blow to those profiting off addiction and reaffirmed our unwavering commitment to protecting American communities.”

“Right now, we have an American dying every seven minutes from drug overdoses, and homicides occur twice each hour,” said Paul Brown, FBI Special Agent in Charge. “Our new FBI director, Kash Patel, has given our workforce a simple mandate, crush violent crime, and this is a big step toward that end in metro Atlanta.”

The operation represents just one phase of Operation Take Back America, aimed at eliminating cartels and transnational criminal organizations. DEA Special Agent in Charge Jae W. Chung reinforced the agency’s commitment, stating: “We will continue to leverage every partnership, every resource available to ensure the drug dealers who distribute poison, like fentanyl and other illicit drugs through our communities are brought to justice.”
