UFO Insider DISAPPEARS — Questions Explode

A high-ranking Air Force general with access to America’s most sensitive UFO research disappeared in late April after attempting to resign from multiple classified Pentagon projects, according to police documents that raise alarming questions about national security.

Veteran Officer Disappears After Resignation Trip

Major General William Neil McCasland, 68, has not been seen since April’s end. The 47-year military veteran flew alone to Washington D.C. days before his disappearance to formally resign from the Riverside Research facility, a nonprofit contractor that handles advanced technology projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars for the Pentagon, intelligence agencies, and Air Force. His wife Susan Wilkerson told authorities he was experiencing severe mental decline and trying to exit several secret projects before he vanished.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert citing unspecified medical issues, though sources described McCasland as physically and mentally sharp. The FBI has opened an investigation into the disappearance of the officer who holds a doctorate in astronautical engineering from MIT and commanded some of America’s most classified programs during his career.

Gatekeeper For Nation’s UFO Secrets

McCasland directed the Air Force Research Laboratory, a multibillion-dollar weapons development program, and commanded Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, where Project Blue Book—the Air Force’s 17-year UFO investigation—operated from 1952 to 1969. UFO researchers believe wreckage from the 1947 Roswell incident was transported to Wright-Patterson for reverse engineering. McCasland also worked for the Office of Special Projects, the shadowy unit responsible for securing sensitive aerospace technologies.

Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett identified McCasland as the gatekeeper for UFO information, stating multiple sources confirmed this role. Government officials revealed that despite his reported mental decline, McCasland was still considered a key witness in ongoing efforts to declassify decades of UFO and extraterrestrial secrets. The general holds some of America’s most sensitive classified information, according to investigators familiar with his work.

Pattern Of Mysterious Disappearances

McCasland becomes at least the tenth scientist or military leader with ties to highly classified information to disappear or die under mysterious circumstances. The timing of his disappearance concerns national security experts, who note his extensive knowledge of sensitive aerospace technologies and classified programs. His case stands out as potentially the most significant due to his senior position and direct involvement with UFO research programs spanning nearly five decades of military service.
